GDS STAFF WHO QUITS THE DEPARTMENT ON THEIR OWN ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR GRATUITY
As per Director General Instruction -13 under Rule - 6 of GDS ( CONDUCT AND ENGAGEMENT) Rules gratuity is payable only if the services of an ED Agent are terminated in consequence of an action of the department, subject to their fulfillment of the other prescribed conditions and that no gratuity is payable if an ED Agent quits the agency on his own.
