The following directions were issued by RO, Kurnool vide RO letter No. PMGK/BD/EPP/MISC/11-12 dated 21.5.13 to improve delivery performance of VP EPP articles. All the staff members of Kurnool Division are directed to follow the same and improve delivery percentage of these articles -
- Handling the articles safely and promptly.
- Delivering the articles at the doorstep of the addressee.
- Sending the article for delivery on the day of receipt irrespective of the value.
- Booking Money Orders immediately on delivery of articles.
- Noting the reason for return of the articles on the article.
- Closing all the return articles in bags and bags should be addressed directly to EPP Centre, Bowenpally In case the article should be dispatched loose) to avoid damage and abstraction.
- Forming special squads and direct them to visit the RMS/Sections to arrest abstraction, if any.
